2022-23 Field Trip Fees & PTO Membership
Field Trip Fee: (one per student)
The Field Trip fees pay for students to attend field trips and covers the cost of busing
- $20.00 for students K-4
- $40.00 for students entering 5th grade due to BizTown
Join PTO: $30/student, $40/ family
The PTO exists to help support and enrich the environment at Windermere. We do this by funding a multitude of activities. By joining the PTO, your contribution helps to provide:
- Additional resources to the classrooms
- Author Visits
- Back to School breakfast on the green
- Fall Family Night
- Teacher Appreciation Luncheons
- Windermere’s Family Read Aloud
- Access to the online school directory
By joining the PTO, you have access to Windermere’s Online Directory. Please take the time to enroll and update each of your student’s information.

Please consider celebrating your child’s birthday by giving a gift to our school library media center! It’s a wonderful way to honor your child’s special day, and your gift will be shared and enjoyed by Windermere students for years to come!
At the end of their birthday month, honorees will come to the media center and choose a brand new book from those recently ordered by Mrs. Hemmelgarn, or you may choose a favorite book from the library’s current collection. We will insert a Windermere School Birthday Book Club bookplate into the book with the child’s name. He or she will be the very first student to check it out! When it is returned, the book will become part of our permanent collection (until it is retired due to wear). Don’t stop with just yourself, celebrate your friends and family too! Your child’s teacher would love to have a book donated in his or her honor! What a great gift!
Sign up any time, but orders must be in by the 20th of your child’s birthday month to be included in Mrs. Hemmelgarn’s birthday celebration. Summer birthdays can be celebrated on half birthdays or in May before the school year is over. Thank you for helping build a strong and diverse collection for our school community! Our PTO helps meet our students’ needs throughout the year. The Outreach Fund was created to assist Windermere families facing financial hardship. The fund is used to help with things such as breakfast items (we offer free and reduced lunch, but there is no breakfast program), school supplies (even backpacks, lunch boxes, etc.) and clothing items (shoes, seasonal items, etc.). If you are a family interested in utilizing this fund, please contact Katie O’Keefe at (614) 487-5060 ext. 7022 (call, email or see me in person). All information is strictly confidential.
